a camera has been purchased.
Pictures will follow when it arrives!
It’s officially my birthday!
As my loving, wonderful and younger husband (we’ve got an Ashton-Demi thing going on up in here) so sweetly said about 20 minutes ago, “hey, you’re half a century old now.”
Yes, yes I am.
I missed this yesterday because I’m still sick and I didn’t know what day it was. Yes mom, I’m going to see my regular doctor today. I think on top of everything else I have a killer sinus infection.
Let’s see, what am I Wild On Wednesday for this week…
::Family – I love mine. My hubs, my kids, my mom and my step-dad, my sister and my bro in love, my brother and my sis in love, my father and mother in love, my sister and brother in love, my nieces and my nephews….I really have a great family. Several of them joined me at my casino birthday bash weekend. My mom flew in from Phoenix to surprise me!! We had a BLAST. There may have been liquor involved. And nasty cards. And gifts. And things to wear. There will be an additional post once they send me the pictures as I still don’t have a camera. (HINT)
::Luck – I may have won at the casino. Big. Really Big. Enough to buy my own damn camera, or a huge flat screen tv. Or both.
::Healthcare – our family needed them this week. My nephew was hit with a severe case of Mono, and my uncle was in a coma for day before passing away. Healthcare workers, the ones in the trenches, make peanuts compared to the companies they work for, including the medical insurance companies. They work in healthcare because they love helping people. My niece works in the field and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She thinks she’s my favorite and I don’t usually correct her.
I want to say one thing about the Penn State scandal. AS A HUMAN BEING, I’m sick to my stomach knowing that at least 6 adults knew what Sandusky had done to a minor and NONE of them went to the police.
Dare I say it? Or even think it?
I FEEL BETTER!!!!
Just in time for the 50 Birthday Bash!
I’ll be back in a few days with bloggable details!
I’m joining Lauren and Kelly for a Wild On Wednesday post.
Minnesotans have to stick together, no matter where they live.
Today, I’m all about breathing. I couldn’t breathe well before my nasal surgery, and even though the recovery is compounded by this horrid cold, I don’t regret my decision. At all. Why? Because even though I hurt like hell, EVEN WITH THIS FRIGGIN' COLD, I can BREATHE!
That is all.
I did it.
I made it through the month.
I’m still recovering from my nasal surgery and the pseudo-pneumonia I have. Not being able to breathe definitely helps a no spend challenge. All I’ve been able to do is recline.
As addicted as I now am to “Hoarders”, I am qualified to state the obvious.
My house is a disaster area.
I am giving myself until this weekend to GET BETTER, and then I will start a new challenge in November – PURGE A ROOM A DAY.
Anyone want to join me??
